Hi,
I've installed both the printer and the scanner drivers and utitilies from the official website. The printing works fine, but when I try to scan it fails with an error. What I do is I turn on and plug in the scanner, put a document in it, open up the 'MF Toolbox' application (which was installed with the scanner driver), click a scan button and then 'Start' in the new dialog.
I've also tried scanning by going into my system settings -> printing & scanning and that also did not work.
Is this a known issue and is there any hope that this will be fixed soon?
The device that I am using is Canon MF3010 plugged in via USB. Driver description on Canon website says it supports MacOS X 10.8.
